San Buenas Golf Resort would like to raise the bar in its attention to these “life” and “earth” matters. In fact, it is our objective to establish an example of how a golf course can be truly an upgrade to planet earth and qualify for that oh-so used and abused term “green”.

Escuela San Marcos Grand Opening was July 21st, 2009, the Escuela San Marcos is a completely new two-room schoolhouse. The materials were donated by MOPT and a prominent local developer. All labor and construction was completed by the SBGR staff.
Local hiring practices Our goal is simple: employ every willing person in the town of San Buenaventura at some point.
River Rehabilitation Project The object is to lower the banks of the river allowing the swollen waterway to access low land parts of the golf course, creating a natural floodplain on SBGR property and not into the town.
Road Improvements SBGR is part of the San Buenaventura road committee dedicated to improving road conditions. SBGR will be donating manpower and equipment on a regular basis to this end.
